Job Description:

The Production Associate position is an entry-level position that has many advancement opportunities and a starting wage of $17.34/hour with an increase to $18.36/hour after successful completion of a 90-day probation period. These positions work rotating 12-hour shifts; 6am-6pm & 6pm-6am, requiring that interested candidates must be able to work daytime, nighttime, weekend, holiday, and overtime hours.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing operator care duties and minor maintenance tasks to include but not limited to lubrication duties
• Working throughout the mill to safely meet production and quality goals
• Learning multiple operator functions in power and recovery, shipping and receiving, and paper machine areas
• Performing detailed housekeeping to keep machinery functioning properly and to maintain the appearance of the plant
• Performing physically demanding tasks that include but are not limited to; using a shovel, rake and water hose
• Operating mobile equipment

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• One (1) year or more of experience in a farming, carpentry, construction, warehouse, military, production, or manufacturing environment
• Willing and able to work a twelve (12) hour rotating shift to include days and nights, weekends, holidays and overtime
• Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 12 hours a day
• Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment
• Willing and able to work from heights when needed
• Experience using a computer

Qualification & Experience:

• At least two (2) years of manufacturing or industrial experience
• Two (2) year technical degree or higher
• Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
