Job Description:
This role is part of the Control Team, which is an integral part of our Technical Services department. As a member of the Control Team, you play a major role in the success of our resort and have one of the most important responsibilities throughout the park. You will help to manage safe and efficient availability of rides, units and facilities. You will also support the Controls and Rides Maintenance teams ensuring our rides are inspected, maintained and repaired to the highest levels possible.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the daily inspection of all ride and attraction control and electrical equipment
- Track assigned work orders through our enterprise asset management system INFOR
- Be responsible for assigned tool kit and supplies to complete daily task
- Perform reactive and proactive maintenance of all ride and attraction control and electrical equipment
- Work closely with the Rides Maintenance Technicians to ensure daily inspections are completed.
- Work with the Control Supervisor to make sure all ride and themed controls systems are functioning at a safe and efficient level
- Lend mutual aid to Maintenance department during reactive and preventive maintenance to ensure both mechanical and controls are thoroughly checked and complete.
Job Requirements:
- Familiar with HDBaseT video Transmission Via Extenders
- Experience in 70V Audio systems ( QSC )
- Knowledge of lockout tag out procedure and its importance
- Knowledge of QSC Q-SYS Core Controllers
- In depth Skills of Aligning and Setting up Projector Screens
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience in control equipment and logic based controllers (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Beckhoff) would be a plus
- Experience with CCTV camera monitoring systems both analog and network-based PoE
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- Experience with relay logic wiring and reading schematics.
- Experience with communication protocols (Ethernet IP, Profibus, CIP, EtherCAT, Modbus, and SERCOS)
- Attention to detail in all aspects, when dealing with life safety electrical equipment in a mechanical setting
- Well-groomed appearance
- Ability to make a child’s day memorable
- Knowledge of electrical meters, multimeters, clamp, insulation, earth ground tester, rotation meter, power analyzers, and power oscilloscopes
- Use of VLAN and WLAN protocols and automated control devices
