Legoland Employment – Landscaper

Job Description:

This role is an integral part of our Technical Services department. This position will ensure the appearance regarding gardens, landscapes and displays for attractions. The Gardner will support all the landscape and plants maintenance which is themed to rides and attractions around the park.  This role will be responsible for the Miniland landscape. Tasks performed will include but are not be limited to mowing, edging, pruning, hedging, weed & pest control, minor irrigation repair and new landscaping projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Use assigned tools and power equipment in a safe and prescribed manner, avoiding misuse, breakage or loss.
• Report broken or missing tools immediately to manager.
• Ensure the landscape and plans are maintained, including all grass areas, from the rough to the finest lawns
• Apply granular chemicals and fertilizers after proper training and under the supervision of the Landscape Team Leader.
• Load and unload work vehicles.
• Keep tools, machines, and all other company equipment in clean and proper working order.
• Complete assigned tasks quickly and efficiently.
• Snow removal on job duties.
• Perform prescribed maintenance procedures as directed such as, but not limited to; mowing, edging, pruning, hedging, raking, sweeping, weed and pest control.

• Ability to work outdoors in any weather condition
• Flexible Availability around park hours (peak and nonpeak times)

• Ability to work nights/weekends/holidays through agreed upon employment
