Legoland Application – Technician

Job Description:

We are LEGOLAND California Resort – the place where FUN is built and memories are made. Across our Resort we have two fantastic LEGO themed Hotels, a Water Park, a SEA LIFE Aquarium, more than 60 rides and attractions, 20 food and beverage locations, and 14 retail stores – the opportunities here are endless!

Job Responsibilities:

• Must be able to perform without supervision.
• Keep downtime to a minimum.
• Respond to emergency calls within the resort
• Examine existing air conditioning systems to verify that systems are functioning.
• Expedite repairs to ensure guests’ and fellow MC’s safety and comfort at all times.
• Follow established maintenance programs and maintain equipment as per specification of manufacturer.
• Performs maintenance on all air conditioning, heating and refrigeration equipment.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of five years of related experience and training.
• A minimum of four years of experience in installing, maintaining and servicing HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Knowledge of CFC, EPA and OSHA codes.
• Ability to react under pressure in emergency situations.

Qualification & Experience:

• Ability to follow supervisor’s directions effectively.
• Ability to read and evaluate reports and correspondence.
• A friendly, polite and customer service can do attitude.
• Valid HVAC/R certification required.
• Effective decision-making skills.
