Job Description:

This position is responsible for all duties associated with and related to the safe, efficient and cost effective installation and maintenance of natural gas facilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform site excavation
• Make taps
• Performs and assists in related activities:
• Install leak clamps
• Performs a variety of activities associated with pipeline installation and maintenance including: Operate backhoe, trencher, cranes, jackhammers
• Locate pipelines
• Layout of line Cut, thread, and re-wrap pipes
• Traffic control
• Fuse plastic pipe
• Perform maintenance on equipment and/or ensure routine maintenance is performed Squeeze-off” steel and plastic Set-up for job (ensure tools and equipment available)
• Assist with purges

Qualification & Experience:

• mechanical aptitude;
• Commercial driver’s license (CDL) required.
• safety awareness;
• High School diploma or a GED;
• effective interpersonal skills;
• Prior related experience or completion of an accredited training program.
• knowledge of hand tools;
